God’s Son sold more records than Wayne lasst week, but he sold a little over half as much as he did with “Hip Hop is Dead.” In some ways, this is a good and bad sign. This album was getting exposure all around the media, even more so than HHID, and sold less. Still, its the number 1 album on the charts. The game is screwy…

I fucks with the album…Some of his beats are still suspect but overall its pretty solid. And as entertaining as Lil Wayne is, I don’t think I can ever bring myself to buy an album from him.
cosign with Mallz.
I never understood Nas’ beat choices. They’ve always been suspect. Maybe its his way of making the listener pay attention to the words.
This is Nas’ best. If you’re focused on “suspect beets” you’ve got it all wrong. Nas is becoming the leader of the young world that understands him. He’s finally focusing that flame that he’s had since illmatic dropped. He’ll be in Dallas tomorrow with Kweli, and i’m excited to hear what he’s got to say.
